This is the April 1968 edition of The East Village Other, reporting
on radical performance art shows and featuring quite clearly a photo of Yoko Ono
in the altogether. This would have been very shortly before she met John Lennon
(for the second time) one night in May 1968 when he took her home to make love
and record experimental noise music which would later come out as the 'Two Virgins'
album after they divorced their respective spouses. This issue also features an
interview with H. Rap Brown, The Who, Jerry Rubin, Phil Ochs and comix by Rodriguez
and Kim Deitch. Some mold and center fold just starting to split otherwise VG.
